BIBLE CLASSES
(Sunday @ 10am, Wednesday @ 7pm)
We often hear from people who want to "get serious" about studying the Bible. Well, we want to take Bible study seriously, too! It's with that thought that we've designed our Bible classes for everyone. We offer children’s Bible classes, an adult Bible class, and a Spanish Bible class. See below for more information.
Children’s Bible Class
The faith of our children is important to us.
Adult Bible Class
The design of our adult Bible class curriculum is based simply on studying the Bible. However, this is more than a simple meeting to read and discuss the Bible. Our teachers prepare study guides with questions for each class. These study guides are designed to engage the student with Scripture, push him/her to understand the reading, and meditate on how the text applies to our lives today. Each student is expected to "do their homework": read the Scripture and prepare answers to the questions. Our classes are a dialogue where we can share our insights with each other “until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God…” (Eph. 4:13).

Spanish Bible Class
Several members of our congregation speak Spanish, therefore, we created a Bible class in Spanish to aid in their spiritual growth. Typically, the teacher of the class is an English speaker. One of our members translates from English to Spanish and vice versa. The design of these classes is similar to the Adult Bible class. The Spanish Bible class is only offered on Sunday at 10 am.

Varios miembros de nuestra congregación hablan Español, por lo tanto, creamos una clase Bíblica en Español para ayudarlos en su crecimiento espiritual. Por lo general, el maestro de la clase es un hablante de Inglés. Uno de nuestros miembros traduce del inglés al español y viceversa. El diseño de estas clases es similar a la clase de Biblia para adultos. La clase de Biblia en español solo se ofrece los Domingos a las 10 am.
El diseño de nuestro plan de estudios de la clase Bíblica para adultos se basa simplemente en el estudio de la Biblia. Sin embargo, esto es más que una simple reunión para leer y discutir la Biblia. Nuestros profesores preparan guías de estudio con preguntas para cada clase. Estas guías de estudio están diseñadas para involucrar al estudiante con las Escrituras, empujarlo a comprender la lectura y meditar sobre cómo el texto se aplica a nuestras vidas hoy. Se espera que cada estudiante "haga su tarea": lea la Escritura y prepare las respuestas a las preguntas. Nuestras clases son un diálogo en el que podemos compartir nuestras ideas unos con otros “hasta que todos lleguemos a la unidad de la fe y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios…” (Efesios 4:13).
